Before You Download
Xbox Series X or Series S with Developer Mode. The public package is intended for Microsoft's Developer Mode environment. Xbox One is not supported, and PS5X is not a normal Xbox Store app.
A Windows PC. You use the PC to download and extract the Xbox build, then send it to your console through Xbox Device Portal (the Xbox’s app-management page in Developer Mode).
An NTFS USB drive for later game setup. The USB drive is used for game folders after installation, not for downloading the PS5X app itself.
How to Get the Xbox Package
1. Open the developer's Xbox release. Check that the release tag begins with xbox- and that the notes name Xbox Series X|S in Developer Mode.
2. Download the release assets. Use the Assets section (GitHub’s attached download files) and follow the instructions attached to that exact Xbox release. Avoid unrelated desktop packages and unofficial mirrors.
3. Extract the files on your Windows PC. The reviewed Xbox installation instructions refer to a .msix app installation package and two supporting files in a Dependencies folder. Keep all required files from the same release together.
These are installation files for Xbox Device Portal. They are not a one-click install in the console's normal Retail Mode.

Can I download PS5X from the Xbox Store?
No. This is an experimental app distributed through the original developer's GitHub releases for Xbox Developer Mode. It is not an Xbox Store game or a Sony/Microsoft-supported compatibility feature.
Which files do I need from GitHub?
Follow the Xbox release notes for your selected version. The reviewed installation instructions describe a .msix file and two matching dependency files inside Dependencies. Do not mix files from different releases.
Does this download include PS5 games?
No. PS5X does not include PS5 games, commercial firmware or decryption keys. This website does not provide those files.
Can I use it on Xbox One or in normal Retail Mode?
No. The reviewed Xbox build targets Series X|S in Developer Mode and excludes Xbox One. It cannot be installed as a normal Retail Mode store game.
