Release History

October 20, 2026 — xbox-1.1.26293.2037

Shader, audio and GPU compatibility fixes

What changed: Updated shaders and NGS2 audio, added handling for user clip planes and ordered compute passes.

Why it matters: Fixes some emulator-side failures, but does not establish that a particular PS5 game is now playable.

Action required: After upgrading, remove compiled shaders once: Settings → Developer → Remove compiled shaders.

Keyboard, trophies and refresh-rate options

What changed: Added on-screen keyboard support, in-game trophy access, 30/60/120 Hz display options and fixes.

Why it matters: Improves app interaction. A 120 Hz display setting is not a claim of 120 FPS gameplay.

Before You Update

A new PS5X version does not mean all PS5 games now work. Only a game-specific Xbox test can establish compatibility. Check the instructions attached to the exact build you are installing; some releases require clearing compiled shaders once after upgrading.
